Marketing Manager

We seek a creative marketing leader and hard-working individual passionate about the agriculture and industrial industries who desires to contribute to our growth.

This position is responsible for maximizing the profitability and growth of Sweet Manufacturing by having a deep understanding of market needs and insights. This role reports and works closely with the VP of Sales to define short- and long-term marketing strategies based on market knowledge and practices. An extensive marketing background and knowledge are required, including experience in marketing communications, product marketing, product launches, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, data and research, and agriculture experience (desired).

Responsibilities:

1. Developing Marketing Strategies: Create comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company’s objectives, target audience, and market trends. This includes identifying key marketing channels, messaging, and tactics.
2. Campaign Planning and Execution: Plan and oversee the implementation of marketing campaigns, which may include digital marketing, advertising, social media, content creation, email marketing, events, and more.
3. Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and industry trends. Use this data to develop marketing strategies and adapt to changing market conditions.
4. CRM Marketing Automation: Develop, manage, and support the lead automation generation rules and logic, landing pages, and reports to grow and drive quality leads to the sales organization through the CRM program and across all digital media channels.
5. Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the company’s brand image. Ensure brand consistency across all marketing efforts and communication channels.
6. Leadership: Manage and lead a marketing support team, providing guidance, setting goals, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
7. Budget Management: Develop and manage the annual strategy/marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI and delivering all marketing activities within the scope and budget.
8. Performance Tracking and Analysis: Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
9. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering design, and other relevant departments, to align marketing efforts with overall business strategies.
10. Manage resources: Work with external agencies and other third-party vendors as required.
11. Show and event management Oversee and work with the sales team to identify product needs, equipment layout, display needs, messaging, agenda, and presentation content as required.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is required. Additional certifications such as Google data analytics can be a plus.
• Marketing Experience: Previous experience in marketing and managerial roles, including demonstrated experience in campaign planning, digital marketing, and team management.
• CRM Experience: Proficiency in using marketing software and CRM tools, Google Analytics, and social media platforms. SEO and SEM implementation is required.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, analyze market trends, and make strategic decisions based on findings.
• Creativity: The ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns and think creatively to solve challenges.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation of ideas.
• Leadership: Minimum of 5 years in management and practical leadership skills to manage and inspire a marketing team.
• Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the industry, market dynamics, and customer behavior.
• Adaptability: The marketing landscape evolves rapidly, so adaptability to new technologies and trends is crucial.
• Some travel is required to assist with trade shows and dealer visits.

Territory Sales Representative

We seek a dedicated and energetic Sales Territory Associate to support our Sales Manager in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth. In this role, you will assist in various sales activities within a designated geographical area, contributing to the overall success of the sales team. The Sales Territory Associate will play a crucial role in building and maintaining customer relationships, conducting market research, and providing internal support to management. This role requires a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to execute the sales strategy within the assigned territory.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and gather information about market trends and competitor activities.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, market insights, and progress reports to sales management.
• Assist in cold-calling and contacting prospective clients to introduce our products.
• Build and nurture positive relationships with clients by providing information, addressing inquiries, and following up on their needs.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and materials to clients under the guidance of the Sales Manager.
• Assist in drafting and sending sales proposals and contracts to clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions.
• Collaborate with Marketing Manager and inside customer support to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Assist in tracking sales metrics and preparing regular sales reports for analysis.
• Provide internal support to the Sales Manager, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing travel itineraries.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and regular travel to promote our products/services and expand the designated territory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute for formal education).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centered approach.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office 365).
• Quick learner with a proactive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM software, and sales tools is a plus.
• Prior experience in sales support, customer service, or a related field is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the agricultural or industrial material handling industries.
• Familiarity with equipment ag sales and market trends.
• Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
