Territory Sales Representative

We seek a dedicated and energetic Sales Territory Associate to support our Sales Manager in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth. In this role, you will assist in various sales activities within a designated geographical area, contributing to the overall success of the sales team. The Sales Territory Associate will play a crucial role in building and maintaining customer relationships, conducting market research, and providing internal support to management. This role requires a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to execute the sales strategy within the assigned territory.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and gather information about market trends and competitor activities.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, market insights, and progress reports to sales management.
• Assist in cold-calling and contacting prospective clients to introduce our products.
• Build and nurture positive relationships with clients by providing information, addressing inquiries, and following up on their needs.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and materials to clients under the guidance of the Sales Manager.
• Assist in drafting and sending sales proposals and contracts to clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions.
• Collaborate with Marketing Manager and inside customer support to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Assist in tracking sales metrics and preparing regular sales reports for analysis.
• Provide internal support to the Sales Manager, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing travel itineraries.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and regular travel to promote our products/services and expand the designated territory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute for formal education).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centered approach.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office 365).
• Quick learner with a proactive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM software, and sales tools is a plus.
• Prior experience in sales support, customer service, or a related field is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the agricultural or industrial material handling industries.
• Familiarity with equipment ag sales and market trends.
• Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role.

Plant Manager

Sweet Manufacturing Company, a leading manufacturer of bulk material handling and conveying equipment for over 68 years, is seeking a motivated and team-oriented individual for their Plant Manager. This job is a great opportunity for a management position in a fast-paced fabrication, welding and assembly shop floor environment.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

A college degree and/or a minimum of 10 years’ experience managing in a manufacturing environment required.

Manufacturing Team Lead

Sweet Manufacturing Company is seeking a qualified Manufacturing Team Lead.  This position will provide active coordination and direction of all manufacturing, leading and coaching team members to ensure the best practices are in place for safety, quality and productivity of manufacturing activities that will meet customer expectations and Sweet Mfg. performance goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead manufacturing personnel in department organization to ensure the safe, accurate and timely processing of customer orders.
  • Enforce product quality control within the plant operations, along with the established quality procedures.
  • Ensure that departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are being followed as outlined in the company Quality Management System (QMS) guidelines.
  • Monitor equipment and tooling in their department.
  • Ensure the on time delivery of customer orders.
  • Coordinate monthly raw material inventories and daily inventory verifications as required.
  • Ensure direct and indirect labor reporting is accurate while optimizing personnel utilization.
  • Ensure that personnel are properly trained and authorized to operate equipment related to their job assignments.
  • Responsible for establishing daily and weekly work schedules for all manufacturing shop floor personnel.
  • Assist with conducting performance reviews of direct labor reports.

Skills & Experience:

 

  • Computer skills including a basic understanding of an MRP system, Syteline software a plus.
  • Ability to interact in a team environment with internal customers and external suppliers to support the goals of the company.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
